Boabet Responsible Gambling

File version: 1.0
Date of change: 11 July 2026

Boabet provides gambling services for adults who are legally permitted to participate in online gaming. Gambling should be treated as a paid form of entertainment rather than a source of income, a financial plan or a way to recover previous losses. Every player is responsible for considering personal financial circumstances, setting appropriate limits and stopping when gambling begins to affect essential expenses or everyday responsibilities.

The platform provides account controls that allow players to limit activity, take a temporary break, request self-exclusion or close an account. Boabet may also monitor gambling patterns where this is necessary to identify potential responsible gambling concerns and meet regulatory obligations.

Responsible gambling tools should be used before financial or emotional difficulties become serious. A player who no longer feels able to control gambling should stop using the services, apply an appropriate restriction and consider obtaining independent professional support.

Responsible Gambling Principles

Responsible gambling requires players to make deliberate decisions about how much time and money they are prepared to spend. Casino games and betting products involve a risk of financial loss, and no result should be treated as guaranteed. A player should never assume that continued gambling will recover money lost during an earlier session.

Players should follow several basic principles:

  • Use only money that remains after essential personal and household expenses have been covered;
  • Decide on a spending limit before depositing or placing a bet;
  • Avoid increasing stakes or deposits in response to losses;
  • Keep gambling separate from savings, borrowed money and funds intended for bills;
  • Monitor the length and frequency of gambling sessions;
  • Take regular breaks from casino games and betting products;
  • Avoid gambling when judgment may be affected by stress, anger, alcohol or other substances; and
  • Stop when gambling no longer feels like controlled entertainment.

Account tools support these decisions, but they do not replace personal responsibility. Players should review their activity honestly and apply stronger restrictions whenever ordinary limits are no longer sufficient.

Account Limits and Personal Control

Boabet allows account holders to set limits through the responsible gambling functions available in their accounts. Limits can help separate gambling expenditure from money required for housing, food, transport, family responsibilities, debt payments and other necessary expenses.

Players should select limits that reflect an amount they can afford to lose without creating financial pressure. A limit should not be based on an expected win or the belief that future gambling will recover an earlier loss.

Limits applied to one account do not automatically extend to another account that the same person may hold with the Company. Players are responsible for applying the necessary limits or exclusions to every relevant account.

Account holders should regularly review:

  1. The amount deposited during a selected period;
  2. The frequency of deposits and gambling sessions;
  3. Whether stakes have increased over time;
  4. Whether gambling continues after the planned budget has been spent;
  5. Whether losses are affecting essential expenses; and
  6. Whether account limits are repeatedly being reached or changed.

A player who finds that ordinary limits are no longer effective should consider a Time-Out, self-exclusion or permanent account closure.

Time-Out from Gambling

A Time-Out provides a temporary break from gambling on the Boabet website. The minimum Time-Out period is 24 hours. This option may be appropriate when a player wants immediate distance from gambling without applying a longer self-exclusion.

A Time-Out can be activated through the Limits section of the account under the account closure controls. Once the player confirms the selected period, the account is suspended immediately. Login and gambling access remain unavailable until the chosen period has expired.

Players should use a Time-Out when they need to:

  • Stop after an unplanned or extended gambling session;
  • Avoid making decisions in response to losses;
  • Review their budget and account activity;
  • Take a break during a stressful personal or financial period; or
  • Consider whether stronger responsible gambling controls are necessary.

The selected restriction cannot be avoided simply because the player later changes their mind. The purpose of the Time-Out is to create a defined period during which no further gambling activity can take place through the suspended account.

Self-Exclusion at Boabet

Self-exclusion is intended for players who need to stop gambling for a specific period or for an indefinite duration. A request can be submitted online through the Limits section of the account or by contacting Customer Services.

When self-exclusion is applied, Boabet suspends the account and prevents the account holder from gambling on the website for the requested period. A player may contact Customer Support to extend an existing exclusion.

Self-exclusion does not normally cancel a pending withdrawal. However, Boabet may still request identity or other verification documents under its Know Your Customer procedures before releasing the funds.

During self-exclusion:

  • The player must not attempt to access gambling services;
  • A replacement account must not be created;
  • Another person’s account must not be used;
  • Incorrect personal details must not be submitted to bypass controls;
  • Available responsible gambling restrictions must not be deliberately circumvented; and
  • The player should consider applying equivalent exclusions with any other gambling operators they use.

Self-exclusion is a formal account restriction and should be selected carefully. It is not designed to function as a short break or a way to temporarily avoid promotional activity.

Bonuses and Marketing During Self-Exclusion

Bonuses may expire while an account is suspended. If the validity period of a bonus ends during self-exclusion, Boabet cannot restore the expired offer after the account is reactivated. Players should not delay a necessary self-exclusion because of an active promotion, bonus balance or potential reward.

Once self-exclusion is implemented, Boabet will remove the player’s name and contact details from its marketing databases. Reasonable steps will be taken to prevent further promotional communications from being sent to the excluded account holder.

A short operational delay may occur between activation of the exclusion and the complete termination of previously scheduled marketing messages. Self-exclusion from Boabet also does not automatically change advertising preferences held by independent third parties, advertising networks or external affiliates over which Boabet has no direct control.

Players should separately:

  1. Unsubscribe from third-party promotional emails;
  2. Disable gambling-related push notifications;
  3. Update advertising preferences on social media platforms;
  4. Block marketing messages from independent affiliates; and
  5. Request exclusion from other gambling operators where accounts are held.

Necessary communications about verification, withdrawals, security or regulatory matters may still be sent.

Reactivating an Account After Self-Exclusion

A self-excluded account is not reactivated automatically following an informal request or a simple login attempt. A player who wishes to request reactivation must contact Customer Services.

Different cooling-off periods apply according to the type of exclusion:

  • A request to end an indefinite self-exclusion is subject to a seven-day cooling-off period;
  • A request concerning a self-exclusion imposed for a definite period is subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period.

These periods provide additional time for the player to reconsider the decision before gambling access is restored. Submitting a request does not therefore result in immediate account access.

A player may instead choose to extend the exclusion by contacting Customer Support. Before requesting reactivation, the account holder should consider whether the original reasons for applying self-exclusion have been resolved and whether limits will be sufficient to maintain control.

Where gambling has caused debt, emotional distress, conflict or repeated loss of control, reopening the account may not be appropriate. Independent guidance should be considered before access is requested again.

Account Closure

A player may close a Boabet account at any time. The request can be submitted through Live Chat with Customer Services or online through the Limits section of the account.

Where closure is requested through Customer Services, it will be implemented within 24 hours and confirmation will be sent by email. The player remains responsible for any account activity occurring between submission of the request and completion of the closure.

Ordinary account closure is different from self-exclusion. Closing an account ends the current account relationship, while self-exclusion records that the person should be prevented from gambling for a defined or indefinite period. A player experiencing gambling-related difficulties should therefore use self-exclusion rather than relying only on standard account closure.

Before submitting a closure request, players should:

  • Stop placing new bets or starting new game rounds;
  • Review any unsettled transactions;
  • Complete requested identity verification;
  • Request withdrawal of any available balance where permitted; and
  • Keep the confirmation of account closure for their records.

Customer Services can provide information about the available account restriction options.
